Summer of 2007 was an eventful season. With low humidity and a record drought a major fire started on Ham Lake. The fire quickly burned over 75,000 acres and 60 homes, leaving many cabin owners stunned when all that was left of their north woods home was charred rubble.  Gunflint Trail Excavating began removal of ash and debris for the homeowners.  Check out the article found in Compact Equipment.
